Since 1913, our bank has been providing banking services to a large number of customers. Initially established as a farmers' bank, we primarily focused on providing financial support to the agricultural sector. However, over time, our bank has expanded its scope beyond agriculture finance to offer a wide range of modern banking services, including secure digital banking solutions.
Throughout its journey, the bank has faced several ups and downs, even incurring losses in the past. However, since 2008, the bank has steadily achieved operating profit and, in 2021, successfully wiped out all earlier accumulated losses to attain net profitability. Due to this trust and support, the bank has expanded its presence by opening several new branches within its jurisdiction, integrating the latest banking technologies to enhance customer convenience. In response to the COVID-19 guidelines, the bank has strongly emphasized digital transactions and made necessary arrangements to facilitate them. Additionally, we have implemented Green PIN facilities at ATMs for RuPay KCC activation and introduced the Bharat Bill Payment System (BBPS), enabling customers to make instant household bill payments.
To promote financial awareness, the bank organizes financial literacy camps in rural areas, using audio-visual content to educate and encourage digital transactions.
